US District Court upholds discrimination against Christian belief

A student at Eastern Michigan University was dismissed from her counseling program because when a client seeking help with a homosexual relationship was issued to her, she referred her to another counselor who has no conscience problem with homosexuality. Julea Ward was offered the chance to engage in a remediation program, in which her beliefs would be effectively dismantled and deemed wrong. After being subject to a panel review in which she was asked very personal and intrusive questions about her Christian beliefs, she was formally dismissed.
