March for Life 2012

Thirty-nine years have gone by since the Supreme Court made its decision in the Roe v. Wade case. The amount of Abortions done have toppled over 54 million in the past 39 years. Last year alone there were over 60 pro-life bills enacted. Now, in 2012 there is increasing momentum on the pro-life front as thousands participated in yesterday's “March for Life”.

It was a rainy day in Washington D.C. but that did not deter supporters from coming out. Estimates show that between 60,000-90,000 enthusiastic pro-lifers showed up for this event. The city was absolutely inundated with promoters of life.

People are showing their passion for the pro-life movement and we are excited for all that can be done in 2012 on this front. Continue to let your voice be heard so we can turn the tide back for Life this year!

It's so sad to me that I see more save the animals on facebook pages and t.v. commercials. Yet human life, we are willing to kill before they've even been given a chance. These babies have souls and were knit together in their mothers womb.  Who is doing the knitting, God. Why do we take human life so lightly, yet we are moved by the sight of abused animals. I don't get that AT all.  Human life is that much more precious.  When will we realize that???

The numbers are staggering!  The loss of life in the name of the god of 'self' is overwhelming.  I pray that we Christians would put on the full armor of God and step into the battle field.  We are the only ones who will stick up for the innocent - unbelievers sure won't.
God bless us with strength, courage and wisdom.

How much publicity/coverage did the mainstream media give the MARCH FOR LIFE?

I am a born again Christian, but I was taken in by the idea of a woman's rights.  When I was forced to think about abortion and the killing of an unborn baby, I had a change of heart.  This occurred in the early 1970's.  Prayer and comments from several people both Christian and non-Christian changed my heart and mind!  The idea that it is a choice by the woman alone to make is a powerful tool, but knowing the history and life of the woman that brought this problem forward also was a convincing against the taking the taking of a human life!  It takes two to make a baby doesn't it!  Do we leave the father out of the equation, and what about God?  The giver of human life should have the most say.  The woman and the provider of abortions set themselves up as the taker of life, but God also is the taker life.  Therefore the people in the abortion business refuse to refer to an unborn person as a human being!
