Manhattan Declaration

The goal of the drafters and original signers of the Manhattan Declaration is to build a movement of Christians willing to take a stand for the sanctity of human life, the dignity of marriage as the conjugal union of husband and wife, and the rights of conscience and religious liberty. By electronically signing the Manhattan Declaration, over a quarter million people have voiced their willingness to do just that, with thousands more joining each day. As more join us, our voice gets even stronger.

Everyone who signs the declaration knows people who have not yet done so. We encourage everyone to share the Declaration with those who have not yet heard about it, inviting fellow believers to join us in speaking forcefully in defense of life, marriage, and religious liberty.

Here are some ways you can share the Declaration:

• Email your friends and invite them to read the Declaration and sign it.
• Ask your pastor or small group leader to encourage church members to read and sign the Declaration.
• Share information about the Manhattan Declaration with your neighbors and others in your community.
• Write a Letter to the Editor of your local paper about the Manhattan Declaration.
• Become a Manhattan Declaration fan on Facebook. Follow us on Twitter and tweet about your support for the Declaration. Use the Internet to encourage others to sign.
• If you are a blogger, write in support of the Manhattan Declaration. Link to us on your blog or web site. Encourage your church to add a link to the Declaration on your church web site.
