- The Perry trial seeking to overturn Proposition 8 and its prohibition on gay marriage is well underway in United States District Court in San Francisco. The Alliance Defense Fund team has dedicated seven full-time lawyers and staff to this case as well as many other resource. Chuck Cooper has four lawyers on his team and they are all working very hard under extremely adverse conditions. Those wishing to redefine marriage have seemingly unlimited pockets and the media backing them. But the ADF team knows that they need prayer. LOTS of prayer for the trial and the those in the battle.
